My Scrapblogs...

Hi my name is Rosalynn, my blog is my scrapbooking world. I want to first thank Stacey for the invite, this is such an awesome idea!!!! Can't wait to see whats going on with everyone! Alittle about myself, I'm 28 years old, I live in Michigan, I've been married to great guy for 6 years now and have 2 dogs and 2 cats.

I've been scrapbooking since I was in high school, my style is totally different then it was then. Right now I'm into doodling more on layouts, which is so much fun. I haven't taken any pictures yet of my newer layouts but I will do that tonight and get them posted on here asap. I do have a few layouts I did on Scrapblog.com which is an awesome site. Thanks again Stacey!!!!

Hello everyone!

My name is Ashley & I'm from Oklahoma. I am 28 yrs old, wife to Clay, mommy to (almost 3 yr old) Caeden. I pretty much didn't scrap at all in 2008 but at the beginning of this year I became completely obsessed with digi scrapping! I love looking through all the ideas you all have posted and look forward to more in the future. Here's a couple (for now) of my recent stuff...

Awesome Cricut Software

Have you heard of this software for use with Cricut: Sure Cuts a Lot? I just found out about it recently from a friend. I tried the free trial download and was very impressed. I'm definitely going to be buying this soon. Just remember that if you do the free trial, when it cuts the letters it puts a few lines through it as watermarks so you can't truly cut anything until you buy it.

Also, she told me that there is a coupon for it: Code: 8250985
The code is for 10% off sure cuts a lot software.

My Official Introduction and More Layouts!

My name is Stacey, I'm 30 and I've lived in the Tampa Bay area for my whole life. I've been married over six years and we have an awesome son who is almost four. I started scrapbooking when he was six months old because I wanted to preserve my memories of him. He is now old enough that he really enjoys looking through his scrapbooks with me and I love it.

Lately, I've been sick and extremely bored so when I've been feeling that I have enough energy I work on layouts for a bit. I'm just got done with Halloween (my son and I were pirates and my sister was Hannah Montana) and our November 2008 trip to Tennessee. For our Tennessee trip I have a layout done for one cavern system we went in and for the Reindeer Petting Zoo. I tried out the paper flowers that Amy posted. Please let me know what you think and can't wait to see more ideas and layouts posted.

If you have any friends that you feel would be available to contribute, please let me know their email address and I'll invite them to join us. Thanks to everyone for contributing. Oh, also, if you would like an email sent to you each time someone makes a new post, please let me know. I believe I can have it email to up to ten people.

My digi stuff

Hi there, my name is Jaemi, my blog to the right is Pottruff. Thanks for this Stacey, what a great idea.

A little about me... I'm a mommy of 2, wife, artist, photographer and stay at home mom. I have been paper and digital scrapping for many years, but change my style quite often. Right now it's a pretty simple, show off photo, style. I was recently able to take a trip to Cali to visit my family and new baby neice. So here for now are two pages I did for my digi photo album. My sister loved the pictures so much that she used them for her birth announcement. So excited about that.

Can't wait to get to know you all and love the work I'm seeing. You guys are great.

Hello!

Jenni here-

Thanks Stacey for the invite, and warm welcome. First I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day! I have some quiet time right now so I thought I would post my short bio; I started paper scrapping for my boys in 2004 & recently switched over to digital scrapbooking in 2008. On occasion I still paper scrap (for gifts) and make cards. My inspiration comes mostly from my boys but other scrappers inspire me often. Thanks again for the blog invite, I am glad to have started blogging again.

I also wanted to mention I tried the technique posted below but I simplified it, I am working with next to nothing for supplies. It was fun and the kids are going to make some cards for their teachers at the end of the year using the idea. I also had no scallop punch so I just hand cut circles. When the boys do theirs I'll let them be more funky with the colors.

Here's my little note card:

p.s. The new blog header is great!

Paper Flowers Tutorial

This is one talented lady!! I tried to make her paper flowers and I totally screwed them up (I cant cut in a straight line!) But mine worked out ok in the long run! Hopefully you can make these correctly. Or whatever way works for you!!

Switch Plate

I created this Mickey Mouse Clubhouse switch plate for my son by finding a photo on Google Images, then cutting it out and adhering it to the switch plate. Then I used "Glossy Accents" by Ranger all over the image to seal it and give it a shiny coat.

Let me know what you think! Please share if you have made any or if this inspires you to make one.

Welcome Amy and Jen!

Welcome aboard Amy and Jen! I can't wait to see each of your first blog posts. If you'd like to visit Amy's personal blog check it out here and Jen's is here.

Catching Up

But never caught up! Such is the art of scrapbooking. I'm now up to July 2008 for my son's scrapbooks, so for the first time in a long time I'm under a year behind. Let me know what you think of these and what you have been working on. If you also have a scrapping blog, please let me know so I can link to you. Enjoy!

Scrap Slump!

Wow, I've really been in a creative slump for months now. Not sure how it started or why. I've jsut recently started scrapbooking again and I'm now up to my son's third birthday party. I need to charge my camera to get pix of the new pages I've done!
